water is a precious resource. 71% of earth is covered with water. So it is important to save water but we are not following it which may cause water problems. During summer we face severe water shortage mainly in cities. to avoid it we need to save it. Even though there is availability of it cannot be used for our own purpose. There are many uses of water we need to save it. It is not possible to survive without water. Even without food we can survive for a day but cannot survive without water for 1 day.Here are some tips to save water......
- check there are no leaks in pipe very often.
- Turn off the tap while brushing.
- Install water saving shower head.
- take shorter showers.
- While washing vessels turn off the tap.
- Water the lawn only when needed.
- Avoid watering plants when it is windy or rainy.
- Do not water plants for more than 2 times a day.
- Use drip irrigation systems for agriculture.
- Turn of water while washing hair.
- Insulate your water pipes.
- Wash fruits and vegetables in a pan instead of washing directly in tap.
- Rinse dishes in cold water.
- Provide awareness to people about saving water.
- Recycle used motor oil.
- Use waterless cleaners to wash your car.
- Clean sidewalks with broom instead of waterhose.
- Try to wash cloths in washing machine.
These are some of the tips to save water........try to follow these tips to save water not only water but also our mother earth.

All the resources are beleived as the gifts given by nature or sometimes god. nobody can survive without water. in earlier days there was no shortage of water but in the present days we face acute water shortage. for our future generations we need to use them wisely. if we do not use them wisely ther may not be water. only salty water can be found. as we know that 71% of earth is covered with water less than 1% can be used for drinking. This is the reason we need to use water very wisely......
what is the solution for this problem???????
The only solution for this problem is to save water. each and every person must save water for the use of future generation. we must provide awareness to people about it. this is the only solution for solving this problem.
